Politics of connections. Investigating (personal) data in transit

A call for participation in the EHESS and CNIL Autumn School “Politics of connections. Investigating (personal) data in transit” is open to early-career researchers (doctoral and post-doctoral).

The Autumn School will be held from October 14 to 18, 2024 in Paris, at the Condorcet Campus and at the CNIL. The discussions will be in English. Application deadline: May 22, 2024.

During five days, the Autumn School will combine plenary sessions and workshops led by researchers of the scientific committee, but also meetings with practitioners, documentary screenings and thematic tours. The aim of the Autumn School is to foster an interdisciplinary and international dialogue, in order to grasp the complex nature of connections. Participants will explore three main axes: the (non-)interoperability of data, the (in)visibility of data and their infrastructure, and the interactions between local and global scales.

Francesca Musiani (CIS-CNRS) is a member of the scientific committee.
